Quest #4 - Newsreaders/RSS

I really had fun maneuvering and learning about newsreaders! It was quite a task, but now I have a better understanding of ALL the new words, terms, and bloglines, etc. found in quest number 4. I like the idea of being able to read the info without having to deal with pop-ins and images.

Quest #3 - IM

I had a ball with IM!! I have done this in the past, so its really not new to me. IM really comes in handy when you need to reach someone who may be "slow" with email, etc. So IM can be quite handy!!

Quest #1 - My Thoughts--Lifelong Learning

My thoughts regarding the 7 Habits of Lifelong Learning are as follows:
The information was very informative regarding lifelong learning. The easiest for me would be the "I will....I can...I do....." task. This is just a matter of setting up goals for myself (which I do anyway) and periodically reviewing them to see how I'm coming. I think being optimistic is also a key factor. One must strive for excellence and be determined to see some positive changes within him or herself.
The hardest one for me would be accepting the challenge to change course at this time. For example, going back school for more credits towards an advanced degree. This is one of my goals but not sure if I'm up for the challenge! (Maybe because I have a few short-term goals that I am striving for within the next couple of years.
